As a Driver/Service Technician at McMahon Oil, you’ll be responsible for delivering fuel and propane to customers, as well as, installing and maintaining company and customer systems.  Our technology-equipped rigs and well-maintained equipment will make the tasks easier and more enjoyable.  Previous propane or fuel delivery experience is a plus, however, we’re very willing to train the right person!

Responsibilities:

• Driving a fuel and/or propane delivery truck and delivering fuel and/or propane to customer locations

• Installing, servicing, and repairing propane gas systems

• Performing tank installations, removals, and maintenance

• Performing duties in compliance with federal, state, local, and company guidelines & codes

 

Qualifications:

• Must have the ability to work Mondays through Fridays, and occasional Saturday mornings

• Must have a valid Class B CDL with tanker and hazardous materials endorsements OR have the ability to obtain one (we can help you obtain your licensure!)

• Must have a valid DOT physical examination certificate, or the ability to obtain one

• Must meet all DOT qualifications, in accordance with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations, Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be able to pass random drug and/or alcohol testing, per DOT and McMahon Oil’s policies

• Must be approved by McMahon Oil insurance carrier’s driver’s license screening

• Must be able to pass a road driving assessment

• Must have the ability to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions

• A strong mechanical aptitude is preferred

• Must possess basic computer and math skills

• Must have good, safe driving habits and a safety-conscientious mindset

• Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds at times throughout the day, as well as, bend, climb, reach, stoop, and twist
